Have you ever noticed a friend or family member become more distant? While talking about mental health challenges has become more normalized, it can be hard to know what to do or say when a friend, family member or colleague may be experiencing a mental health challenge.
That’s where Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) comes in. Just like CPR helps someone in a physical crisis, MHFA equips you to recognize and respond when someone is experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.

This one-day virtual class includes two hours of self-paced pre-work and a five-to-six hour live training session. Certification lasts for three years. Classes are taught by Bright Sky House founder Krista Gregg, a certified MHFA Instructor with six years of experience supporting families and first responders in trauma and crisis situations.
