Adult Mental Health First Aid Training
Virtual | 1-Day Course | Hosted via Zoom | Begins 9:00 AM Mountain Standard Time
Mental health matters — and just like CPR helps someone in a physical crisis, Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) equips you to recognize and respond when someone is experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge.
In this one-day interactive training, you’ll learn how to identify warning signs, understand risk factors, and approach conversations with confidence and compassion. You’ll leave with practical tools to support people in both crisis and non-crisis situations — and know where to turn for help.
All time zones are welcome. (Agenda times are listed in Mountain Standard Time.)
What You’ll Learn
- How to identify common signs and symptoms of mental health and substance use challenges
- How to approach and support someone using the MHFA Action Plan
- Crisis and non-crisis response strategies
- Resources and professional pathways for ongoing help
This session is led by a certified Mental Health First Aid instructor trained through the National Council for Mental Wellbeing.
About Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based program of the National Council for Mental Wellbeing. Since 2008, MHFA has trained millions across the U.S. to recognize and respond to mental health and substance use crises — making support for mental wellbeing as common as CPR.
